Answer

Hi XXXXXXXX, the paddles are just clicked into place and have no screws . You can push down on the individual paddle and slide backwards. The paddle should then be easily lifted out. Replace with new one by locating into slots and sliding forward to lock into place. Hope this helps .(FORRY)

Hi Forry,

That much is quite obvious but how do I get to the screws? Because they are put in from the outside of the drum It looks as if I have got to take the drum out of the sealed tank, which would require splitting the whole machine down. Is this the case?

Answer

No that is not the case. The paddles will come out without removing the screws by pushing down on and sliding along the keyway. Then lift upwards to remove.

Hi Forry,

The paddles in this machine have one screw in each and definitely do not slide in a slotted hole. I have broken all the plastic away from around the screw/fixing point and can see quite clearly that it cannot be slid back. What next?

Graham

Hi Forry,

I've figured out how to get to the screws without removing the drum, so I wont 'accept' on this one but you might be able to help with a problem on my Whirlpool ADP4602 dishwasher. The green 'start' light flashes 7 times but nothing works, why?
