Question

My lung pulmonary Docter did an Mri of my Lungs as I have chronic Bronchitas. He said there were calisification in the aorta to my heart. Is this serious or just old age, and what do I do about it?

calcification in aorta decreases the ability of aorta to expand when the heart pumps .. it is common with old age...Aortic calcifications do not specifically indicate a problem but if you have symptoms of shortness of breath and chest pain then there may be calcification in the areteries that supply the heart. if you dont have symptoms then there is nothing to worry about.
