Question

When A quit claim deed is signed does it give the granto rights to insurance proceeds after the date that it is signed, even if the claim was filed before the date of transfer?

Answer

The insurance proceeds should go to the person who is the owner of the insurance at the time the claim if filed. It would not go to any taking ownership after the claim is made because they did not own the insurance at the time of the claim.
