The Bulb is probably out on the insturment cluster. It really isnt much to replace it. Just curious, do you have the analog or digital readout on this vehicle.

You remove the insturment cluster. Let me see if I can find the procedure for you.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

WARNING: Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.

CAUTION: When handling electrostatic sensitive components, touch a known good ground frequently to avoid possible build-up of electrostatic charge and damage to electronic parts.

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

Removal & Installation

  1. Using small flat-blade tool, pry access hole covers from instrument panel. Remove screws from ends and lower right edge of instrument panel cluster trim plate. Open glove box door. Pull right lower instrument panel trim plate away from instrument panel.
  2. Tilt steering column to lowest position. Grasping right edge of trim plate, work toward left to release trim plate from retaining clips. Remove instrument panel cluster trim plate.
  3. Remove push-pin retainers from top of instrument cluster. Rotate top of cluster rearward, and disengage locating pins on bottom of cluster at instrument panel. Disconnect electrical connector. Remove instrument cluster.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten instrument panel cluster trim plate screws to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).

DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER (DIC)

Removal & Installation

  1. Using Trim Pad/Garnish Clip Remover (J-38778), remove push-in retainers from left instrument panel insulator. Remove courtesy light from insulator. Pull insulator forward from stud at accelerator pedal, and remove left instrument panel insulator.
  2. Remove bolts/screws from bottom of steering column opening filler. Pull steering column opening filler rearward and upward to unsnap, and remove it from instrument panel.
  3. Disconnect driver information center electrical connector. Using small flat-blade tool, depress retainers on DIC. Remove DIC from steering column filler.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten instrument panel cluster trim plate screws to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).
