Answer

Hello XXXXXXXXX,

A Motion for Default Judgment means that a lawsuit was filed against a defendant, the summons and complaint was served, and the defendant failed to answer in the timeframe provided by law.

The Plaintiff then moves for a default judgment which means they are asking for their complaint to be granted in its entirety and a judgment ordered against the defendant.
