I have a 2005 international truck model 7300 diesel engine DT466, engine smokes black under load below 1700rpm and then smoke disappears, I have changed filters, turbo charger, still problem exist

and loss of power, picks up power after seconds and black smoke diappears, I have changed turbocharger,fuel filters, clean fuel tank and still problem exist.

Hello niiotu, On your problem, have you checked the air to air rad for holes, its located out in front of the radiator, also check all the hose and clamp connections, after that you would require the use of a scan tool and check the operation and range of the intake sensor, it could be giving an improper value to ECM causing all symptoms you described, Give it a try, hope it helps
