Answer

Hello

Most likely there is nothing at all to worry about. Most common house mice do not carry rabies or other spreadable disease.

Answer

Unfortunately mice do carry a number of diseases that can be transmitted including salmonella when their droppings and/or urine contaminates food. You should NEVER consume food that has been in an area where rodents (including mice) have been active.

You need to contact your doctor if you develop any signs or symptoms of an illness, particularly vomiting or diarrhea. It is also important that you eliminate mice from the residence.
