Question

had a cut on leg was doing ok then started using sheer bandaids . then it got red with red spots from where the stick em from the bandaids . have quit using them for a week . still red but not as bad been using neosporin peroxide and alcohol. anything better i could use to get rid of it thanks

Dear Rustynut ,
Looks like an allergic reaction to the bandaids.Do not irritate the area alcohol and peroxide can irritate the skin further.Continue to clean the area with soap and water and after drying it use the neosporin.One can be allergic to Neosporin as well.Try just leaving the wound alone for couple of days , without applying anything if its not a big laceration or wound.Or if you think you are not allergic to Neosporin then you can use it.
