Question

when I give my cat a bath I see blood on her coat probably from fleas but it seems like it's getting worse. We bath her once a week. Why is she bleeding so much?

The red that you're seeing is probably a result of flea dirt. This is literally flea excrement. With an increase in the number of fleas, you'll have an increase in the amount of flea dirt. So, it's safe to say that the fleas are not in check. The best thing to do would be to provide her with a bath, wait 2 days so that she's dry and apply a high quality flea preventative such as frontline or advantage. It's important not to use off-brand preventatives such as Hartz or Sargeants since they can make your baby very sick.
