Hello XXXXXXXXX,

One trick you can try is to spray glass cleaner into the latch to see if it starts working. Basically you are trying to wash out debris or any spilled beverages. Glass cleaner is safe enough to use in the latch, but I don't recommend any WD-40 or other lubricants as this may render the seatbelt latch useless in an accident.

If the latch continues to not operate, or works intermittantly, I would suggest replaceing the latch.
