My 02 Firebird displays a P1125 code what is the problem and how do I fix it?

Your code is for the accelerator pedal position system. The app sensors are located on the accelerator pedal.

There are actually 3 sensors housed as a unit. The code sets when it sees a disagreement between the sensors or one of them fails. The probable cause is a faulty pedal assembly, but there may also be wiring issues involved.
