So my defrost doesnt work because the knob wont stay in the right position and my car stalls when stopped or going slow. Can the defrost be fixed and will the stalling have any long term effects?

As for the knob not staying in the right position, I see alot of the cables bent. Look under the dash in the center and move the knob back and forth. Look around untill you see it and check both ends if it is bent. Let me know if that is it and I could include some repair info if needed.

 

As for the stalling, Could be a bunch of things. Start out by checking codes in computer. Autozone and Advance auto parts (Maybe otyhers) do it for free. Could also check fuel pressure. Fuel filter replacement.
