Does the 2002 BMW 325CI (convertible) have timing belts or timing chains?

Already Tried:
If it has timing belts, I have heard that they will need to be replaced at around 70,000-80,000 miles at a cost of approximately $2000.00. Not so with timing chains - correct? I am looking at a used car w/70,000 miles and I want to know what maintenance will be upcoming and have that reflected in the price I agree to pay.

The 325ci has timing chains (primary and secondary). There is no mileage interval as far as replacing them
