My '04 645 gearbox makes a noise when I change the gear from drive to park or reverse to park - do you know what the issue might be? - and its taking a little more force to push it from D,R to P. Please advise

Just keep trying to change gears when parked. It does fine most of the time, but sometimes makes a big noise going into PARK from D and R. Its taking a little more force to get into PARK as well. The car runs and drives perfect.. please help.

Hello, I would recommend checking the cable bracket on the left side of the transmission. It is possible that it may have been bent from road obstructions.If this is out of adjustment it can cause these sort of issues. Thanks and please Accept if I have helped you. Sincerely, XXXXX.
