i live in az and recieved a writ of garnishment of earning and summons today and wanted to know if i have time to enter a payment arrangment with the creditor or is it to late what are my options at this pint.

Answer

Legally at this point the creditor does not have to accept a payment arrangment but if will not hurt to make an attempt. if you come to an agreement then you would have to make a motion to the judge that granted the writ of garnishment asking him to vacate the writ because there is a voluntary execution acceptable to both you and the creditor (attach a copy of the written agreement or appear before the judge to put the agreement on the court record).
