reverse cell phone look-up

i am trying to do a reverse cell phone look-up. however, when i went to search on the internet, i could only find services that offer this for a fee. Prob is that i know that many of these are phishing sites. I therefore have 2 questions: 1) is it possible to get this service for free?; ad 2) if i have to pay, can you help me identify reputable vendors? thanks in advance from s. windsor, ct!

There is no "official" database of cell numbers to people just yet, which is why all the free sites are phishing sites. There are companies that maintain thier own private databases to hld this information.

so to answer your question.

1. will it be free- no, more then likely you will not find a "reputable" free service to do this.

2. I personally like http://www.cell-phone-numbers.com/.

However, if you use another service, make sure they have a "no info/no pay" statement so that you are assured of getting the results your looking for.
