Answer

Your graduate program should have an appeal process for this situation that you can avail yourself of to get her decision overturned through the appeal process.

Is there any way to prove that her and the chair of the program have been unreasonable toward me? They stated that I may seek legal representation. Is there a law for this? Thanks.

Accepted Answer

There are attorneys who specialize in education law. You should consult with one. The quickest way to find one in your area is to go to the state's bar site and there is usually an attorney referral link where you can search by speciality.
