I have a 95 Chevy blazer with a very weird problem.It has an erratic idle.PO122 TPS code.This is when it all started,I had to drop trans pan and replace the 2 shift solenoids,and after I was done with that I gutted the converter(rattling)and ever since TPS reading has been fluctuating terribly with a crazy up and down idle.What is really weird is when U have it is idling crazy,u can shut ignition off,then restart and will idle fine for about 10-15 seconds then back to crazy idling again.Only thing I can think of is the gutted converter,throwing off downstream HO2S(but not sure,non mass-air system)Any help with this strange problem would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to check wiring and connectors, though.. This is TPS Low voltage code, and might even be a malfunction inside the computer. The best way I know to help you is to give the diagnostic flowchart specific to your truck for the code. I have uploaded it for you in PDF form, and you can access it right here.
If it were me, I would start with 'wire tugging' test, though.
