Question

A street pigeon is on my terrace and is trying to fly..it jumped up about 2 feet and couldn't fly away..he's walking, alert and pooping all over my terrace..food and water has been provided. at one point, I touched him gently, and he moved away from me slightly..looks like his wing is broken. what can I do to help it along??

How long has he been there ?

Poor little guy - he sure picked the right place to land didn't he?

Has he eaten? Drank? Is he holding either wing slightly down and out from his body (or both?).

When he tries to fly does it appear both wings work ok, but he's not getting a lot of lift?
