how long have your had the squirrel?
what is she eating now?
A lot of states require a wildlife license or permit to keep a squirrel as a pet, so you do need to contact your local fish and wildlife center.

If your squirrel gets sick a vet is not allowed to treat it unless you have the proper permit to keep it. Squirrels also don't always make great pets because they can become aggressive, especially if you have small children.
As far as diet, you do need to add some puppy dog food. The squirrel food for wild squirrels is not balanced in vitamins and minerals, it is just made to supplement a normal wild squirrels diet. Here is a good website that talks about raising squirrels.

Squirrels do make noises and screeches and she is trying to explore her environment a little bit now. She shouldn't be in pain or having a seizure unless she isn't eating a normal balanced diet. You have to remember they are not a domesticated species. It is also a good idea to find a vet in your area that does see wildlife. They can be able to do an exam and tell if the squirrel is in pain or anything and also help you will feeding and care of squirrels.
