Question

Car will not start.power to lights and everything else.but starter will not turn over to start car.not even a clicking sound to say it it trying to start.what could be the problem.tried jump starting.still will not start. could it be fuses? starter? 97 Chevy Monte Carlo LS

1997 MONTE CARLO LS

Already Tried:
1.Jump starting the battery
2.check to see if the key I had was dirty that starts the car
3.adjust the cables to jump start the battery(made sure they had contact with the battery)
4.turned car off.then tried again to start the car
5.checked to see if I had the radio and lights turned off from the last time the car was able to start.
6.looked at the battery it self.seems to be Ok.not leaking
7.prayed
8.sat down then wrote this very informative letter to some one who may be able to help me figure this one out.

IT SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE A THEFT PROBLEM WITH VEHICLE I WOULD HAVE PASLOCK SYSTEM CHECKED

Well the car worked fine all week on friday.I did have a automatic starter put in last year.but the car was working fine all year till today.I checked fuses just in case.they all look ok.what would be a reason for the paslock not to work all of the sudden?The car wasnt broken into.or tampered with.

THE PASSLOSCK IS A SENSOR AND CAN GO BAD

 

 

I WOULD HAVE IT CHECKED

AND CHECK WIREING TO AUTO START MAKE SURE OF NO SHORTS
