I have a 1995 mustang. Steering rack dust boot fills with fluid is this normal or is there a seal somewhere leaking? If there is a seal leaking where and how do I get to it?

Hi,

If the dust boot is filling up with fluid, this is an indication that one of the inner seals is bad. To repair yourself, you will need to remove the rack and pinion unit, and rebuild it.
