Question

I am taking 5 pills daily in hopes of alleviating some of my lower back pain. These are 1. Glucosamine chondroitin 2. 1200mg fish oil 3. Magnesium 500 4. 2000 i.u. vit. D 5. a multi-vit. "senior complete". Is this too much or dangerous in any way? I am a 52 year old woman and need answers please tell me what you think.

I have scoliosis and been seeing a chiropractor for many years. Also I have done intense physical therapy for 3 months straight at 2x wkly. I also use a inversion table at home and some excersise. Furthermore I wear a shoe lift on my left foot.

Although you are taking a large number of supplements, they are all of different types.

You are not duplicating anything, and all these supplements are very much within their toxic levels.

So you are not really overdoing it in the sense that you are not putting yourself in danger with these supplements.

Of course, you are probably aware that the efficacy of these supplements have not been proved beyond doubt scientifically and are based mainly on theory. However, you are certainly not putting yourself in danger.
