Regular vaccine. L-Lysine. Brushing teeth. Raw diet of rabbit.

Answer

The main advancements are the use of antiviral drugs. Although, some scientific data shows it is not beneficial at all.

Other treatments are more supportive in nature and treat the symptoms rather than the actual virus ( this has been the typical treatment rather than something new)

From what I understand on Zylexis it isn't regularly used on felines yet. It is also a preventative medicine not a treatment. So it is intended for healthy animals not infected animals.

So to answer your question, there still is not a cure or direct treatment for the calicivirus. Just the preventative vaccinations and treating the secondary infections that are associated with calicivirus.
