Dear friend,

My own (one) cat got sick from a can of fancy feast but my others did not. Your kitty may have a weaker digestive system then her friends.

Some vets push science diet because they sell it but it is not a great food.

Get a box of infant rice cereal and add one tsp to the fancy feast for her. That should clear up the diarrhea til she is seen. You can go up to a tablespoon if the stool remains loose.Or try a day of baby food chicken (no onion powder) with a tablesspoon of infant rice cereal added to the jar.

You may be looking at severe food allergies or IBS which is characterized by bouts of constipation and diarrhea:

IBD or pancreatitis are also possiblities:

Colitis:

Hopefully this is a mere GI upset and she will be fine. Please let me know how she is doing.

Sincerest best wishes,

Terri
