My bank just took out $754 on funds due to saying they have a writ with a judgment against me for $1500 which I never got served a notice on or any knowledge of this. I asked if they where to Notify me first on this.

talking to the bank tonight when I found out my acct had this money just taken out. They gave me their legal department to speak to someone tomorrow am when it's open.
Answer
If they recieved a writ with a judgment they must comply and the bank does not have to give you notice before they comply. But the person who was issued the writ should have given your proper noticet that they were seeking the judgment and writ so that you could dispute it.
