This is a gardening question. How or what can be used to break up clay in soil?

Thank you for asking your question on JustAnswer. Begin by loosening the clay down about 12 inches. Add organic material, perlite, vermiculite, or coarse sand will help break up the soil. Please click here and read the information provided.
