I just had the dimmer switch/blinker replaced in my 2004 Impala SS. I have cruse controle functions on my strearing wheel. After they put the new switch in, everytime I go to dim my lights it shut the cruse off. Why is this doing this? Is it the wrong switch or is it wired wrong?

Replaced old dimer switch because it was broke. Now it is shutting the cruse off when I dim my headlights.

No it's not wired wrong because the harness has connectors on it, however when it was installed they could have pinched a wire or skint a wire that would be touching the dimmer rod when changing from high to low beam.i would recommend taking it to who ever installed the new switch have them recheck it.
