My daughter owns this house in Chesapeake. She took it upon herself to start building and addision on. Ipayed for every thing because I thought that I would be living there for the rest of my life. That was the undrestanding. Now they are planding to move and I asked for my money back. Can I get it back

Sadly, your daughter may have no legal obligation to reimburse you for the monies spent absent a written agreement to do so. Most agreements involving real estate must be in writing to be enforcable.

It is unfortunate, but absent your daughter voluntarily agreeing to pay the money from the sale, you cannot legally compel her to pay you.
