Question

i work at a restaurant and i know for a fact and have seen some of the managers go into a servers check, add things to the check, split it off so that the server doesnt know they added it, and then cash it out so the server has to pay for it and they dont even know it... is there anything i can do about this??? wouldnt that be considered stealing???

ok. good. then the first thing you need to do is contact the corporate office. you can find it on the internet - call and speak to a representative there and let them know what is going on. make sure you get the name of the person you are talking to. they will send someone in to investigate the matter - what the managers are doing is not legal and does constitute theft. and, you also should contact your local department of labor and report what you have seen
