Question

I work under a collective bargaining agreement in Calif.. The Employers and the Union officials are doing things completely opposite of the contract. People are not being promoted the way they are supposed to, they are being skipped over, not being dispatched the way their supposed to. There is major favortism, discrimination. The Union officials are misappropriating the money, they dont follow our Constitution and By-Laws. They make changes without the rank-and-file voting. I have alot of evidence of all this. How do I file a lawsuit? i have nowhere to go. Dept. of Labor hasn't done anything, they have been called upon. Going thru the Union and Employers is a waste of time. What can we do?

Thank you for contacting Just Answer. I look forward to assisting you.

While we write back and forth, please keep in mind that I do not know what you already know or don't know, or with what you need help, unless you tell me.

There can also be a delay of an hour or more in between my answers because I may be researching the answer to your question, helping other customers, or taking a break. If we are writing late at night, I may have to go to sleep and resume helping you the following morning.

I need the following answered before I can answer your question. Sorry - it's a little bit of a different process from sitting in an attorney's office.

Can you please tell me what type of discrimination is going on? And have you contacted the NLRB?

I'll look forward to hearing from you,
