No symptoms the eye test has to be done on all breeding stock, it is not compulsory but must have clear eye certificate to prevent hereditary defect.

The pet is a dog

Accepted Answer

I think that what you are referring to is a CERF certificate. This is to clear breeding animals of certain dog breeds, that are known for hereditary eye diseases. This is done by a specialist in veterinary ophtholmology. You can ask your regular vet for a referral to one in your area. They are usually located at either specialty referral centers or at colleges of veterinary medicine. If you happen to live within a few hours of a vet school, this is the best place to have this done, as it will likely be the least expensive there.

I hope that this information is of help to you. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
