Question

Recently bought 2003 525i with 70k miles. Runs great, but only blows cool air from heater with controls turned up to 90 degrees. Temp is normal. Any ideas?

Looked at fuse - it looked okay.

check the center vent , there is a wheel with blue and red dots . you can move the wheel up and down , if the wheel is set to the blue section the air will be cooler and when red is set there will be warm air .

That was it, and that is the same problem I had with an old BMW a few years ago and forgot all about!! Maybe $20 will help me remember next time!!

This is a very common oversight . Most cars dont come with this option .
