Question

I am trying to replace the blend door accuator. It is located behehind the glove box. I got the fron two screws out but hoe do you do the one in back? My vehicle is a 1997 explorer.

The dash needs to be removed to replace the motor. What you can do is try to cut off the back of the motor where the bolt is. Then you may be able to lift it out. I have seen other techs do this but I have never tried it because I didn't want to damage anything else. I have always moved the dash out of the way.
