You will need a flat blade screwdriver, handy for all jobs and very common.A Medium sized philips head screwdriver and a small socket set. These small socket sets are very cheap and cost only £2-£3 UK. Also an 8mm spanner (£1-50)
. The socket set is in a neat little plastic case and can be purchased from many ironmoger stores or large DIY stores. The screwdrivers are about £1 each (UK)
The socket you will need is an 8mm to remove the door. The hinge is then left attached to the cabinet. You will need to loosen the door seal from the front lip of the washing machine, usually held by a thin wire cord encorporating a spring and if you look closely at the rubber seal at 6' O Clock you will see the spring, sometimes at 9' O Clock by the hinge, and carefully prise the spring and band away from the seal. Now peal the seal and fold in out of the way whilst you continue to remove the hinge using your 8mm socket on your little rachet (supplied in the socket set) and the 8mm spanner to hold the nuts at the rear of the hinge.Hey Presto the hinge is removed.Replace with new one being carefull not to drop the door and smash the glass .(Disaster !) Get helper to be on the safe side whilst you attach the door to the new hinge.Good Luck and if you require any more info let me know otherwise thankyou for your question and please click the ACCEPT tab, regards David.PS> I can get parts for appliances if you get stuck or overcharged by greedy suppliers!
