I have a 2002 BMW 330ci with an auto convertible top. It is currently down and I cannot get it back up, when I push the button (which remains flashing, as if it never went down completely) there is a "clicking" noise as if it is trying to come up, but is stuck. Additionally, the auto trunk release button (on key) will not unlatch the trunk, I have to manually use the key to open the trunk.

You need to get the top up manually.The cover is locked and you need to remove the center cusion on the rear seat.There is a small flap of fabric lift it up and there is a rectangular box there- press the button to release the cover and with the key off(and the help of another person) lift the cover and lift the top closed.You then need to use the allen key that is attatched to the same rectangualr box and pop the oval cover off that is above your head when sitting in the drivers seat(in the center)and crank the top all the way locked.There is a problem that now needs to be addressed by a repair shop or dealer-
