I'v reported a crime to the police but wanted to stay annionus due to fear so I didnt want my name involved but the person that i made the complaine about someone knows them very well at the police station so they went to warn them about what I'm doing and also gave him my name I know this becasue the person told me and gave me the officers name that told him is there any protection for me this was confindital how can this happen

nothing wanted to know if there is any leagal action that i can take against the police department for giving my name the the criminal this was supposed to be confindatle they told me that i would be protected they wouldnt use my name but the person had a friend at the police dept and they told him what i was doing and gave him my name that i was the person reporting this crime what can i do

no I wasn't a victim but my friend was and i had infromation they told me this would be confindal but like i said a friend at the police station warned the person that i was reporting about and gave my name to him because he called to tell me now what do i do i'm very afraid

no my friend was the victuim the police promised this would be confidtal but like I said he has a good friend at the police station and they warned him about what i was doing he called to tell me the officer gave him my name and everything then he called to tell me what they said to him he even told me the officers name that went to warn him
