Question

I was fired from a job due to a disability, age discrimination and racial disability. I filed paperwork with EEOC and I agreed to have mediation with the company. The company denied to have a mediation with me. What will EEOC do now? Since the company denied mediation is that a good thing or a bad thing. I plan to proceed with a lawsuit but I know EEOC has to approve that. Would EEOC think that it was not very nice that the company refused mediation and allow me file a lawsuit? I am just wondering how common this is and if it a good or bad thing for me. Thank you.

Participation in EEOC's mediation program is strictly voluntary. If either party declines to participate in mediation, the charge will be processed just like any other charge. the decision not to mediate should not prejudice or favor either side.

Did you receive my reply asking what EEOC will due from this point after receiving the decline from the company? It is my understanding they have to give me the "Right to Sue". How long does this normally take?
