I have chrones and have fistulas and get chronic bowel obstructions which i have had 10+ surgeries to remove. I dont form adhesions so my intestine wrap around itself causing yet another bowel obstruction. Any solutions to how this can be prevented? Any way i can prevent my intestine from shifting if i cant form adhesions?

Already Tried:
Im on remicade (every 8 weeks)and have had my colon removed (prior to finding out i had chrones) to help with the ulcerative colitis. doctor has put in screens to prevent tangling and hernia s but it keeps happening over and over. i am 34 years old and dont want a colostomy. (feel im too young and worry about sex and swimming etc.) Doc is scared to put stitches to hold the intestine in place because of the blood supply. Please help!!!

well there is no way to prevent this except colostomy which is a pouch attached to the bowel. You need to be in consultation witha gastroenterologist to manage the advanced form of crohn's disease... If they can manage flares you will have better outcomes.
