Accepted Answer

Thank you for your question.

Since the charges were dismissed, it will probably not be a problem. However, it may be a point that the immigration authorities question you on when looking over your application for citizenship. Crimes of moral turpitude (which fraud may fall under, especially if you were working for a bank) are considered on the application. However, the fact that the charges were dropped should inure to your benefit. Your best bet in making application for citizenship is to be as open and honest as possible.
