Hi
Do you mean urine infection when you say water infection?
Can you please explain little more about your problem including previosu history, name and dose of the tablets you used and what are current symptoms?
Will wait for information.
Thank you
Thank you for brief but nice explaination to my questions.
Urine infection is not uncommon in young females specially those who are sexually active.
Burning sensation on urination, increased frequency of urination, could be from urinary infection( most common), or it could be from urethral area tarumatic impact during intercourse also. Also conditions like pregnancy and diabetes can also be associated with increased frequency an durge to urinate.
But smell from the urine and cloudiness in color points towards infection. Urine test can confirm the case.
Sometimes repeated urinary tract infection like symptoms can also be because of a condition called interstitial cystitis that is not uncommon in young females.
If urine test shows bacterial infection, then antibiotics are the mainstay of the treatment.
Some times urine culture is necessary to figure out if causative bacteria are resistant to current antibiotics.
Drink lot of liquids about 30 minutes to an hour before having intercourse and void immediately after intercourse as it helps to wash out bacteria.
Always wipe from above downwards to prevent bacterial transmission from vagina.
Some times a single dose of antibiotics is recommended before intercourse to prevent UTI.
If problem still persists, you should ask your primary physican to referr you to a urologist to figure out any underlying problem and that may involve cystoscopy.
