I do not beleive you can use that harness, unless you have the Bose system. That harness goes from the Radio, to the amplifier. If your amplifier does not have an opening for the other end of the harness, then you won't be able to use it.
Also note, that this radio will need to be programmed at the dealer and if its not already there, you will need to tap into a Vehicle speed sensor wire.
Sorry for the delay, this one didn't come up in my question qeue to be answered, but I found it!
The best place I have found to tap into the VSS wire, is the left I/P junction block which is down by your left foot when you drive, often called a Convenience Center. If you raise it up and look at the connectors on the back side, there will be a connector that has a DARK GREEN wire in cavity H1 (refer to diagram below). H1 will be in the middle of the connector, first slot. that is the VSS wire used by the vehicle and you can tap into that for the radio's use.
OK, here is what you need to do:
You will need to order connector #4 for the radio (I'm assuming you only have 2 plugged in). This will be an empty connector body. It is part number 15429806 and costs about $5-6
You will also need the terminal that goes into the connector. It is part number 15359541, HOWEVER, you cannot order it, its part of the terminal repair kit. I gave you the number so they can positively identify it. It will be in tray #4 of the repair kit. You won't have access to it, just ask the parts guy if he can get it for you. Tell him its in tray #4 so he won't spend all day looking (there are over 30 trays of terminals!) You will need to have this terminal crimped to your VSS wire (whichever wire you use) and if you ask nicely, you might be able to get one of the techs or parts manager to crimp it for you. It requires special crimpers, which is part of the terminal repair kit.
Once that is done, you need to install the terminal/wire into slot #5 of the connector, then install into your radio.
Let me know if you need additional assistance! Hope this helps!

The vehicle knows where you are because of GPS and the internal gyroscope. However, you will notice the Icon does not move like its supposed to, and the voice guidance does not work correctly because you did not install the VSS wire.
As for the low audio, its probably because you don't have the Bose system. If you remove your center console, you can look to see if that harness will plug into the amp, but we only sell NAV upgrades on Bose equipped vehicles, because the GM Accessory catalog says thats what it fits.
