my bunny has torn off half of his nose.What should I do?

Already Tried:
I washed the area. The bunny lives outside in an area with small wire all around so other animals can"t get to it. We have another bunny in the area as well. She is just fine. I put the bunny into a large black container that is used for watering hores. He is now in the garage.

Is the Bunny rubbing his nose?

How did this happen?

He is not rubbing his nose. I"m not sure how this happened. I went out to feed the ducks and geese and the bunnys when I found the bunny this way.The area has been bleeding but as long as I don"t touch it it doesn't bleed.

Hello,

We will want to clean the area up with some Betadine scrub. This can be purchased where ever they sell first aid supplies. Then once it is cleaned with the Betadine we want to coat it with some Neosporin Ointment. This will help heal the area. The bunny may have scraped it or had gotten into a tussle with one of the other animals. It should heal fine using these first aid protocols. Joan
