Hi XXXXXXXXXX, the reason that the boat cambers like this is due torque of the prop, as the prop revolves to the right it will make the boat lean, you can counteract this camber by fitting trim tabs to the boat, as the boat leans the trim tab will push down on the water and right it, it may also be worth trying to put as much weight (fishing gear holdalls fuel tank etc) on the left side this will help to counter the effect, or take a large friend with you ;)

there is a circular device below the upper fin which either movev by the trim adjustment or by a half inch drive nut that is aattached to it from above. Can this adjustment which has a 4 inch by 2 inch slightly curved blade on it, be used to correct this problem? Is this device possibly a trim tab?

Yes this is a trim tab anode this can be adjusted to counteract some of the camber but if the boat is leaning quite a bit this wont counter that much. You could also try not useing the engine flat out this will also save you quite abit of fuel.

is there a correct way to adjust the trim tab anode i.e. clockwise, or counter cock wise?

Sorry I thought I had put this in the last post,(going mad in my old age :))
You will need to turn it clockwise, but as I say I dont think you will notice much if any difference this adjustment is quite nominal.
