i can disarm my alarm using the remote key, but when i try tostart the car the lights/radio etc will come on but the engine wont crank/turn. could it be something to do with the remote key fob & immobiliser? if so can i dis able the immobilisor?

automatic trans ? ... have you tried starting it in neutral ? ... with key in ignition in run position ...is the security indicator lit ?
