Does the suspension leveling air pump run continuously? It is located near trunk area under car. There is an air hose for the right rear shock which commonly breaks. When there is a leak in the air line or shocks, the pump will run to level the rear end. Look for the air lines first. Due to age of car, you may consider replacing the shocks for normal style and disabling the air ride altogether. Good luck--John.please provide feedback and click "accept" thanks.

Hi John,
As expected, pump runs about a minute (very noisily) after car sits, - not continuously. This noisy operation is new - but I don't want to wait for failure, especially since I'm 77 yr.old lady who will drive it 1200 miles each way this winter. Thanks, BJ
