Question

My employer (a big pharma company) insists that we are not "allowed" to discuss our salaries with other employees and that it is a fireable offense. My understanding is that the 1935 National Labor Relations Act made it illegal to punish people for revealing wages to one another. Who is right?

Can you show me specifically anything that applies to wages/salaries in this document. My sister and I work for the same company and I find it rather silly that if we talk about what we make they can fire us. Also, it seems a repressive tactic by a big coorporation to keep women in lower salaried posistions. Thank you, just trying to arm myself with information.
