My daughter's 2002 Jetta was with my ex and when we went to pick it up it didn't start. The engine and battery sound fine but it won't start. I believed he tampered with it as he's very passive aggressive and didn't want us to have it. Can you help? What do you think he did to it?

Very hard to say what he did without seeing vehicle,

Check leads going to coil, he could of unplugged it, or he could of took fuel pump fuse out,

Can you check to see if it has fuel or a spark ?
