hello, I just gotten my car of out peublo storage thru the military. I understand that my lender has full rights of repossing my car. My intentions was to give the car back as soon as I gotten all of my possesion's out of my car. I am fully aware of the circustances.. Please help I have some very important documentation that I want all I want is my doucumentation birthcerticates...social sercuity cards etc,,,,,

Answer

You are entitled to recover any and all personal items from the vehicle, except for those actually installed in the vehicle. You need to notify the company of your right to the property and demand to be allowed to collect it. Additionally, there is a law that protects active duty military members from repossession and foreclosures while actually out of the country on active duty and you need to inform the lender of this and provide them proof that you were on active duty.
