Question

While wipers are running headlights flash on and off now wiper start and stop on their own. Question will replacing wiper motor and pulse board fix this? and how does the pulse board work and what is function?

..HELLO!
You have a good one there. I suspect that there is a bad/shorted circuit in the multifunction switch. This can occur because of age or ?? I would like you to replace it please. Any ??s.

Reply to Steve's Post: I've taken the end off the multifunction switch cleaned and regreased the contacts and accually left the switch apart and whe wiper still run had this same problem a year ago they changed out the motor and pulse board but want to make sure

Sounds like we are thinking alike here. Replace the switch. I've tried disassembly of these before with zero success. There seems to be PFM inside and not for repair.

Changed out the wiper motor last night after inspecting it and finding the pulse board cover full of water and carbon arcing tracks on the board. 30 minuets to replace, fixed the problem $145 at NAPA not 600 at dealer.
